Lithuania is situated in the north-east of Europe and is 65.300 square kilometers, the largest of the three Baltic countries. The country has 3,5 Million.

In the north Lithuania borders with Latvia (Latvia), in the east and south by Belarus (Belarus), in the south of Poland (Poland) and in the south-west of the Kaliningrad (Russia- Kaliningrad). The Baltic Sea forms a natural boundary to the west.
